Seen from high cliffs near the East Lothian village of Cockburnspath on a hot summers afternoon. A clear blue sky began to form a thin ribbon of mist far out on the horizon. This slowly expanded towards the cliffs like a brilliant silver white sheet until nothing of the sea below could be seen.
