Started outdoors and finished in the studio, this was painted from a bridge on a section of the old Dundee to Arbroath road which is now left abandoned by construction of a new dual carrigeway. Just along the road from this bridge is a once superb abandoned restaurant, which further back in time was a coaching house, now completely derelict
