A colour study of the morning sky as seen from the deck of the “Instow”, before sailing from the torpedo testing range at the Kyle of Lochalsh.
The upper cloudforms were being sculpted by high altitude wind with some broken low level clouds batting across the sky. A strange and beautiful sky. Saturn’s rings would not have looked out of place, curving around the atmosphere
