Update 10th July

I’m working on commissions just now, as well as some paintings of the trees ...In ”Badger Wood”  I mean. (below) I’m also finishing off some small outdoor sky sketches which I’ll put up here as soon as they’re finished.

I’m going to put a link up to this web site  - http://www.taymara.org/html/news.html

I usually just concentrate on paintings here but lots of folk like dolphins. (As well as my painting, I work with Taymara, the organisation involved here, and do their website. It’s a maritime charity)

The occasion was a live broadcast for Radio Scotland about the new dolphin population which has established itself once again in my locality. As far as the environment goes, there aren’t many success stories around  - but this is a real one and as such it deserves to be celebrated and given prominance.

Dolphins moved back into the Tay a few years after Dundee decided to stop pumping its waste into the local river. The water quality improved immediately and shortly afterwards, animals, fish and birds showed their appreciation by increasing or even, in the case of the dolphins, re-establishing their presence.

Politicians and the local water company actually made this work. ......Keep the faith, it can be happen.
