This painting is of the landscape of the River Tay around Inchyra, close to where the River Earn joins the Tay, with Kinnoul hill in the distance. This is my favourite stretch of the whole river. As seen from the classic motor cruiser Marigot which carries passengers to Perth from Dundee throughout the summer
