Many thanks to Andrew and Sue from Resipole Studios and to Resipole Holiday Park. This was a successful painting trip and now I’m back with a mass of source material in the form of oil studies, sketches and photographs to work my way through. Watch this space!
It doesn’t always rain in Scotland.
Sometimes it’s warm too. Near Strontian on the way to Resipole.
Ardnamurchan Point is the most westerly place in the UK mainland and so for a while I was the most westerly person in the UK mainland......Imagine that.
Not the Teletubbies house. This is the Ardnamurchan Foghorn, sadly now redundant.
Waiting for the sun to go down over the Atlantic Ocean
Rhum, Eigg and Muck
Sheep. You knew that, I expect.
Red Deer. They stroll across in front of the car and peer in.

Surprisingly, when I turned off the road here to get an ice cream, I got to say hello to a nice rabbit.
My rabbit would not be turned upside down so readily and still look unfazed.....maybe I should try this though..

Castle Tioram surrounded by bluebells
The River Shiel from Tioram
Don’t know who built this. Pretty good though. It might have been superglued together, but the only way to make sure would have been to give it a push.......and I didn’t.
