This rig left the Stannergate, Dundee one evening in November. The movement of oil rigs in the Tay are among the most majestic landscape events of the year. The sheer scale is staggering. Three rig support vessels provided the power to move it at about walking pace. Gorilla 7 left at dusk, in a barrage of light making it look like it was glowing from within.
