During really ferocious winds in the Tay Estuary in January 2002, I watched the tugboat “Seahorse” from outside my studio in Broughty Ferry. It spent most of the day off Broughty Ferry, riding out the storm. It sailed slowly into the wind in and out of areas of brilliant sunlight with waves continually breaking over it.
